“as small as a world and as large as alone...” is the title of this superbly curated exhibition presented in the Edith Gilbert Gallery at the Crooked Tree Arts Center. Curator Gail DeMeyere states that this exhibition was, "borne out of close observation of the world around us; a silent world of detail and private atmospheres". She brings together artists Harry Boyer, glass; Caesar Citraro, painter; Martha Fieber, fiber; Ladislav Hanka, print maker and myself Kim Kauffman, photography, in this stunningly intimate and moving exhibition running through April 7, 2012.

Upcoming Exhibition: |
“Illumitones: Reductions” opens at Mackerel Sky Gallery in East Lansing, MI on October 6 and continues through November 30, 2012. I introduced a new photo-collage series in early 2011 and this exhibition will build on that work. A subset of Illumitones,
these images explore ambiguity in abstract photographs. How much information must an image include? How much will the viewer fill in?
